Brand pricing, protected across Amazon
Our work · Retail & E-commerce

A price violation on Amazon, caught automatically.

Suppliers who sell through Amazon and other retail channels set a minimum advertised price to protect their brand. When a retailer undercuts it, that pricing integrity slips away, and checking thousands of listings by hand to catch it is impossible. We designed a compliance platform that watches Amazon listings automatically and flags violations as they appear, and we steered its architecture and QA from first design through launch.

01 The problem

A price you set, undercut where you can't see it.

A supplier who sells on Amazon and other retail channels sets a minimum advertised price so its brand reads the same everywhere. The trouble is enforcement. When a retailer advertises below that line, it quietly erodes the brand's pricing, and the only way to catch it is to watch every listing, every day, across a catalog that runs into the thousands. No team does that by hand for long.

The client had its own developer to write the platform. Counterpart's job was to design it and keep the build on track: shape every screen, then steer the architecture and review the tests and tickets as the code came together. Design and technical oversight, working as one job.

02 What we designed

A compliance platform that watches for you.

A multi-tenant SaaS platform for product suppliers: it pulls in a supplier's catalog, monitors Amazon listings automatically, and raises an alert the moment a price falls out of policy. We designed the whole experience and steered its build.

Suppliers

Every supplier, kept apart

Multi-tenant supplier management, so each supplier works in its own account on a single shared platform.

Catalog

Bulk add and SKU sync

Bulk product add with catalog and SKU sync, so a supplier's whole product line lands in the system without hand entry.

Monitoring

Amazon, watched automatically

An Amazon SP-API integration monitors listing prices on its own, so nobody has to sit and refresh listings looking for a violation.

Dashboard

Daily history and alerts

A monitoring dashboard with daily price history and violation alerts, so a supplier can see at a glance where its pricing held and where it slipped.

Rules

Your policy, per product

Configurable minimum-advertised-price rules for each product, plus brand and retailer management to keep everything organized.

Notifications

A daily digest

Notification management that delivers a daily digest, so violations arrive in one summary instead of a scatter of one-off emails.

03 The long run

Design and oversight, done as one job.

Our role here was the product design plus ongoing technical oversight. We shaped the experience screen by screen, then reviewed the tickets and tests and steered the architecture as the client's own developer built it. That combination is what carries a platform from a good idea to something that actually ships and holds up, and it is the same discipline we bring whether we write the code or guide it.
