This explains what counterpart.biz collects when you visit or contact us, and how we use it. We keep it plain on purpose.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a form, or otherwise enter information on our site, we may ask for details such as your name and email address to help us with your request. You can browse the site without giving us any of this.
When you submit a form, we also record basic context such as the campaign or link that referred you and the page you arrived on, so we can understand which of our efforts are actually useful.
We may use the information we collect to:
Messages you send through our contact form are delivered to a shared inbox that our team monitors, and we reply from there. We use what you tell us only to respond to you and to follow up on your request.
We send our newsletter through Mailchimp. If at any time you'd like to stop receiving our emails, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email, or email us at info@counterpart.biz, and we'll promptly remove you from all correspondence.
Cookies are small files that a site transfers to your device through your web browser (if you allow it) so the site can recognize your browser and remember certain information. We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and interactions, so we can offer a better experience and better tools over time. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.
You can set your browser to warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or to turn off cookies entirely. Since every browser is a little different, check your browser's help menu for the right way to change your cookie settings.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. We have not enabled Google AdSense and we don't currently serve ads. Any Google services we use are governed by Google's own advertising principles, which are meant to give users a positive experience.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties unless we give you advance notice. This does not include the hosting partners and other providers who help us operate the site, run our business, or serve you, so long as those parties agree to keep the information confidential. We may also release information when doing so is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Counterpart or others.
Aggregate, non-personally-identifiable visitor information may be shared with other parties for marketing, advertising, or similar uses.
We do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website.
You can opt out of Google's use of cookies through Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. To stop receiving our emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message or email us at the address below.
