The Indiana High School Athletic Association governs eligibility, officials licensing, and tournaments for the whole state. Since 2017, all of it has run on myIHSAA, a platform we designed, built, and still operate. We're their software counterpart.
The IHSAA runs interscholastic athletics for Indiana's high schools: athlete eligibility and transfers, officials licensing and education, tournament administration, and member-school services. It's a complex, mission-critical operation with a hard calendar. Sectionals don't wait for software.
No off-the-shelf product fits that shape, and the association doesn't have an internal development shop. They needed an operational backbone, and a team that would own it season after season.
Work moves with the seasons: each sport's tooling has to be ready before its tournament, every year, without fail. That rhythm has shaped how we build and ship for nine years.
myIHSAA serves officials, athletic directors, and IHSAA staff from a single web platform, with the integrations a statewide operation needs.
Registration, licensing, certification courses and exams, ratings, and an officials dashboard used across every sanctioned sport.
Athlete eligibility and transfers, tournament entry and brackets, coach accreditation, and member-school messaging.
Tournament hosting, sectional realignment mapping, financial reports, directories, resource library, and a member store.
Football and general digital ticketing with third-party ticketing integrations and electronic payments for member schools.
Purpose-built tools where a sport demands them, like diving-meet scoring with live score validation.
National federation data, SMS notifications, and background-check workflows, connected where the operation needs them.
Almost everything we ship runs on the same modern Microsoft stack: proven, supported, and easy to hire for years from now. Cutting edge but never bleeding edge.
And it stays current: the 2026 modernization moves the platform to the latest Angular and .NET 8 with a full visual refresh, without missing a season.
myIHSAA has grown in waves on a continuous maintenance spine: the original build, a second wave, and the digital-ticketing era, with a full platform modernization underway in 2026. Project managers changed over nine years; the two developers underneath never did.
Tell us the challenge in plain language. We scope the work on complexity, commit to the figure in the room, and stay for the years after launch.
