YMI Raises over $30K at Annual Breakfast

Counterpart was proud to sponsor, participate, and attend the 3rd annual YMI (Youth Mentoring Initiative) Breakfast Fundraiser.  All told, YMI raised over $30,000 at the one-hour event, with donations continuing to be collected.

We were proud to be part of this game-changing event for YMI and the kick-off for their 2020 Initiative, which targets matching 600 Fishers area Junior and Senior High School students with one-on-one mentors.  The event had a record number of 200+ attendees, raising the most money ever.  We were so moved by the impact and success of their efforts that we committed to making an ongoing annual donation and contribution to the group.

YMI provides one-on-one mentoring for students by building and sustaining a mentoring community.  They match mentors with students to help develop personal relationships, values, and life skills.
