FAQ

Have questions? We’re here to help.

What isn’t custom software? Custom software can be anything you dream up. From apps to automation, we tailor-make a solution that meets the specific needs of your organization. If there isn’t something already available off-the-shelf that fits your needs, we can create it.

Custom software is an investment, but we make sure to work with you to stay within your budget. Your project is scoped and quoted upfront via fixed bid. We offer a complimentary scoping meeting to discuss needs vs. wants, as well as your overall budget and timeline. There should not be any surprises about what we are doing and what it will cost.

In order to get a true understanding of your business and software needs, meetings are required. They can be via video call, or in person at your office or ours.

If we don’t deliver the software project experience you expected, we don’t get paid. It’s as simple as that.

The approximate time frame will depend on each project’s complexity. Before the project gets started, we will provide you with a proposed budget and timeline.

That’s correct! Before our first project kickoff meeting, you will get a dedicated Project Manager, Software Architect, Designer, Developer, and Quality Assurance Tester.

We have a number of options and ways to support your product after it has launched. Our preference is to consider a continual improvement plan that allows any bugs to be addressed while enhancements are being made.

Complete control! You hold the reins. Your assigned Project Manager will act as your single-point-of-contact and will work closely with you and the project team to identify and document all the requirements for each software feature. In the rare event that you would want or need to pause the project work, our contracts do include provisions to stop or continue the project at any point.

Your dedicated Project Manager will provide regular updates and be available to answer any questions you have throughout the project. We also have recurring sprint meetings every two weeks to discuss upcoming work and review project deliverables.

Our clients are the owners of all rights and licenses to the work we produce. We don’t stop until you are happy with the product! Through every step of the process, no matter where we stop, it’s 100% yours.

Will there be surprise charges? Definitely not. However, there are times when our clients decide they want to add features and/or functionality to their software that was not initially scoped and planned for. We will always provide a quote for review and approval prior to starting any feature enhancements or software additions.

Most of the time, you will receive a quote within a few days of your scoping session. There may be times where additional research has to be done before we can finalize the quote.

We make sure your team has ample time to thoroughly test your product and get familiar with all the features and functionality. We can also work with you to create a plan for how to best train anyone in your organization who will be using the software.

Absolutely! We have some pretty cool clients who would be happy to chat about their project experience and hopefully ease any concerns you may have.

All of our full-time, part-time, and contracted employees are subject to a company confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.
