INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 10, 2016) – Indianapolis-based custom software development firm Counterpart today announced the launch of its new online fundraising application, AppToGive. With over 23 years in business developing software for Fortune 500 companies, national nonprofits, and small businesses, AppToGive is Counterpart’s first software product released for use by nonprofits and groups interested in raising money for their cause.
AppToGive is a web-based fundraising application platform that leverages technology to create a real-time entertainment and giving experience. Non-profit organizations can create a custom fundraising campaign that not only engages existing donors but also capitalizes on social networks to facilitate and encourage new donor acquisition. Counterpart calls it a modern-day, digital telethon.
Users love how easy it is to use AppToGive and acquire new donors. “I really love your platform!” Andrea Groner, Donor Relations Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, said. “It’s extremely easy to set up and very user-friendly. After fiddling with about a dozen options for data management/marketing/website platforms for BBBSCI, working with your site was a breath of fresh air.”
While AppToGive is newly released, it already has an impressive and successful history. AppToGive was first used in 2014 for Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Indiana’s inaugural #GivingTuesday campaign. After nearly tripling their original fundraising goals, Counterpart decided to invest more in the development team to rebuild the platform into a SaaS offering, one that can be used by any number of organizations, as well as add enhancements to maximize the experience on a subscription basis.
Drew Linn, Chief Strategy Officer of Counterpart, has been working on the concept and strategy of AppToGive since the first campaign in 2014. “AppToGive prioritizes an organization’s ability to build a deeper relationship with donors as well as build awareness with new audiences,” Linn said. “Every feature in AppToGive’s platform was created with the mission to create an interaction between donors and the organization, so that all users feel a part of a giving experience and clearly understand the impact they are having.”
AppToGive is live and available to organizations wishing to launch their own campaign. To learn more about AppToGive, visit apptogive.org.
