New leadership focused on growth and expanding Indiana’s IT landscape
Counterpart, announced today, employees Jason Bourg, Matt James, and Tyler Smith have purchased the 20-year-old custom software development and consulting firm from founders Alan Wlasuk, Reed Delporte, and John Davis. Bourg, James, and Smith have been involved in the daily business activities of Counterpart and designed many client software solutions for a combined 35 years. Their experience will enhance Indianapolis’ reputation within the technology industry around the state of Indiana and the nation.
Since assuming ownership of Counterpart, Rose-Hulman alumni Jason Bourg and Tyler Smith, and Ball State University alum Matt James have re-ignited Counterpart’s reputation for providing customers with software solutions that drive results. The trio has already developed a new vision for the company that will launch over the next several months. The new vision affirms the trio’s commitment to the Indianapolis community as second-generation business owners.
“This is a great day for Counterpart,” said Jason Bourg. “The staff is excited about the new direction and our clients are very pleased with our announcement,” he added. “Matt, Tyler, and I are committed to building Counterpart as one of Indy’s premier software development companies and enhancing the entrepreneurial landscape of our community. We look forward to leading the company for decades to come.”
