After many iterations, it now makes HTML document traversal and manipulation, event handling, animation, and Ajax much simpler with an easy-to-use API that works across a multitude of browsers. These capabilities are manifested in their motto, “Write less, do more”. jQuery has quickly become the most popular JavaScript library in use today with installations on 65% of the top 10 million highest trafficked websites.

We find jQuery makes it easier to create animations and navigate a document – it’s like having a powerful JavaScript tool shed at the tips of our fingers.
