Supporting the Connections That Move Indy Forward

Who They Are

The Indy Chamber has been part of the Indianapolis business community since 1890, with a long-standing focus on strengthening the region through business growth and connection.

Today, they bring together more than 2,000 members across the Indy region, spanning industries, company sizes, and stages of growth. By convening this network, the Indy Chamber creates space for collaboration, shared progress, and a stronger overall business environment.

At its core, their work is about building connections that move the region forward by supporting businesses while also contributing to the broader community.

What They Do

The Indy Chamber serves as a regional voice for progress, bringing together businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders across Central Indiana to support a strong economy and a high quality of life. Their work helps connect people, ideas, and opportunities across the Indy region, creating pathways for growth that strengthen both individual organizations and the broader community.

Their work shows up in multiple ways. Through advocacy, they help shape policies that impact businesses across the region. Through economic development initiatives, they support growth, attract investment, and position Indianapolis as a competitive place to live and work. And through programming and events, they create opportunities for people to connect, learn, and move forward together.

That includes initiatives like the Central Indiana Women’s Business Center (CIWBC), which focuses on supporting women entrepreneurs through education, resources, and community. It also includes programs and partnerships such as the Hispanic Business Council (HBC), the Business Ownership Initiative of Indiana (BOI), Chamber Care, and the Black Enterprise Council, all designed to support businesses and professionals through connections, advocacy, resources, and opportunities for growth across the region. Events like the Women in Business Retreat create additional space for leaders and professionals to step away from the day-to-day, share perspectives, and think intentionally about what comes next.

At a broader level, their work is guided by a focus on fueling regional growth, strengthening the talent pipeline, and ensuring that Indy remains a place where businesses and people choose to invest their future.

Our Partnership

Our partnership with the Indy Chamber has been both collaborative and closely connected to the people behind the work.

Arianna, our Director of Market Development, serves on the CIWBC Outreach Committee, supporting efforts that connect women entrepreneurs to resources, programming, and community. Drew, our CEO, serves across several Indy Chamber leadership groups, including the Board of Directors, the Business Ownership Initiative Board, the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, the Membership Council, and the ChamberCare Benefits Alliance of Indiana Trust, contributing to the organization’s broader direction and impact.

On the technology side, we partnered with Indy Chamber to design and build a membership portal that brings their resources, programming, and member experience into one place. Alongside that, we developed a membership directory that makes it easier for businesses to find and connect.

Taken together, this work supports members’ day-to-day experience and the larger goal of strengthening relationships across the network.

Why Their Work Matters

The impact of the Indy Chamber shows up in the spaces they create and the people they bring together.

Conexión is a clear example of that. As one of the most diverse event series in Central Indiana, it creates space for Hispanic and Latino business owners and professionals to participate in the conversations shaping the region. It is not just about showing up. It’s about having access to opportunities, relationships, and visibility that lead to real progress.

That same intention carries across their work. It shows up in how they support entrepreneurs, how they connect businesses, and how they continue to expand who has a seat at the table. When more people are included in the work being done, the outcome is stronger, not just for individual businesses but for the region as a whole.

For us, that is what makes their work matter. It’s not just about connection. It’s about who those connections are created for and what they make possible.
