Welcome to Connector’s Chronicles, our roundup of the events, conversations, and community moments that keep us inspired and connected. Whether we are sponsoring local innovation, celebrating impact, or supporting meaningful causes, this series highlights where we’ve been and why it matters. Through corporate community engagement and authentic partnership, we’re finding new ways to build better together—one connection at a time.
Joined by Steve Finn (our resident dev genius), Nick Ladig (Digs Advising), and Luke Hilty (JH Specialty), we attended the Blessings in a Backpack golf event. It was a day of great swings for an even greater mission. Since 2007, Blessings in a Backpack has worked to fight childhood hunger locally, now feeding over 3,500 Fort Wayne students every weekend and aiming to reach every school in the district and beyond. We’re proud to support a cause that’s making a lasting impact on our community’s kids, one bag (and one birdie) at a time.
Evening at the Vineyard, part of the Indy Chamber’s Women in Business series presented by Hirons was an evening full of connection, inspiration, and community. Hosted at the lovely Daniel’s Vineyard, the event brought together a vibrant group of women. These entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers are each carving their own paths and lifting one another up along the way.
From heartfelt conversations to moments of shared laughter, the atmosphere was one of genuine support and empowerment. Events like this serve as a powerful reminder of how important it is to make space for women to come together, share experiences, and build each other up.
What a refreshing evening at the Case Study Showcase: Winning Campaign and Marketing Programs event hosted at Resultant by Indy Marketers. We had the chance to connect with fellow marketers, learn from standout campaigns (from Backstroke, Resultant, and Riley Children’s Foundation), and celebrate the impact of thoughtful strategic work. More than just tactics, the event was a reminder of the power of community by taking the time to share ideas, celebrate wins, and connect beyond the day-to-day.
We had the opportunity to attend the OneZone Chamber’s State of the Towns luncheon and walked away energized by what’s possible when schools, towns, and townships align around a shared purpose. We heard updates from leaders including Joe Cox (Town of Cicero), Dr. Mundy (Sheridan Community Schools), the Town of Sheridan, Hamilton Heights School, and Robyn Cook (Jackson Township Trustee). The key takeaway? Real growth in education, infrastructure, and community only happens when collaboration is rooted in care, innovation, and open-mindedness.
“In Indiana, that lack of attention on the psychological price of entrepreneurship stops today with the launch of the Indiana Founders Network, an organization supported by TechPoint, but led by members.”
We attended our first Founders Network breakfast that proved to be incredibly worthwhile. The conversation was open, real, and refreshingly imperfect. Ideas didn’t need to be polished to have value, and everyone brought something meaningful to the table. These gatherings are designed just like that: no presentations, just informal conversations centered around a shared topic. If you’re building something and craving connection, find your people with the Indiana Founders Network, now growing in both Indianapolis and Fort Wayne.
