Welcome to Connector’s Chronicles, our bi-weekly roundup of the events, conversations, and community moments that keep us inspired and connected. Whether we are sponsoring local innovation, celebrating impact, or supporting meaningful causes, this series highlights where we’ve been and why it matters. Through corporate community engagement and authentic partnership, we’re finding new ways to build better together—one connection at a time.
We had the pleasure of being a sponsor for the IHSAA Foundation’s 2nd Annual Impact Awards, a celebration that honors student-athletes not only for their achievements in competition, but also for their excellence in the classroom and contributions to their communities. With over $45,000 in scholarships awarded to honorees from the graduating members of the IHSAA’s Student Advisory Committee, the event recognizes the next generation of leaders. These students have overcome challenges, championed inclusion through Unified Sports, and exemplified the values of education-based athletics. The evening highlighted how sports can shape character and lifelong impact. We’re proud to support an organization that’s investing in student-athletes as future leaders and change-makers.
We had the opportunity to participate in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC), a premier international gathering that brings together changemakers from across the entrepreneurial spectrum for four days of insight, collaboration, and forward momentum. With a mission to create one inclusive global entrepreneurial ecosystem, GEC unites voices from around the world to exchange ideas and strategies that drive innovation and economic growth. We see a clear parallel in this mission at Counterpart. Just as the GEC promotes shared methodologies across continents, we embrace a tech-agnostic approach that supports a wide range of industries and use cases. Whether it is software for nonprofits or tools for startups, we believe in the universal potential of technology to solve problems, foster growth, and create impact, regardless of geography or sector.
As a part of the GEC, we had the honor of attending and sponsoring the Innovation Showcase, hosted by the Venture Club of Indiana, an event that stands as a cornerstone of the state’s entrepreneurial landscape. Bringing together founders, investors, and industry leaders, the Showcase celebrates Indiana’s thriving innovation economy and the bold ideas shaping its future. For us at Counterpart, this sponsorship represents more than a one-day commitment; it reflects our ongoing dedication to supporting homegrown startups, fostering collaboration, and investing in the growth of Indiana’s tech ecosystem. From dynamic panels and startup pitches to invaluable networking opportunities, the event showcased the momentum and creativity driving our state forward. We believe that when entrepreneurs thrive, our entire community benefits. We’re proud to stand alongside the Venture Club of Indiana and the brilliant innovators who are reimagining what’s possible. This year’s Innovation Showcase winners, Kristin Sherman, Jonathan Merrell, Dan Whitenack, and Allyson Strak, exemplify the vision, creativity, and leadership that continue to drive Indiana’s innovation economy forward.
At Counterpart, we believe in the power of community, technology, and compassion to make a lasting impact which is why we’re a proud sponsor of the Annual Building Dreams Champions Breakfast, hosted by the inspiring team at the Fight for Life Foundation. This event brings to life the Foundation’s mission to support underserved youth through education, wellness, and technology, most notably through their innovative digital platform, Building Dreams. Designed to meet student’s social and emotional needs, Building Dreams equips educators with real-time data, behavioral insights, and intervention tools to promote healthier, more inclusive school environments. At breakfast, we saw this mission in action. Emceed by Olivia West, the in-arena host for the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever, the morning was filled with energy, reflection, and purpose. Founder Marlin Jackson delivered a powerful speech about how people and technology, together, create winning moments. A panel of education leaders shared firsthand the transformative impact of Building Dreams. We’re honored to stand alongside the Fight for Life Foundation as they continue to uplift youth, strengthen communities, and reimagine what’s possible in education.
These moments remind us why we do what we do. Our mission is rooted in collaboration, impact, and building something better together. As we reflect on these recent events, we are energized by the people and partnerships moving our communities forward. We look forward to continuing this journey, celebrating progress, and connecting through purpose every step of the way.
