We often discuss building tools that make a meaningful difference. But just as meaningful is the impact our people make outside of work, quietly, consistently, and with genuine intention.
As we look back on the year, gratitude is at the forefront of our minds. Not only for the clients and community partners we support, but also for the passion our team brings to giving back in their own ways. These individual efforts reflect the same values that drive our work: service, curiosity, empathy, and the belief that small actions can create big change. Here are just a few of the ways our team members are making an impact.
Kim Bourg, one of our Quality Assurance Specialists, volunteers as a Master Naturalist, leading citizen science activities, supporting environmental cleanups, and helping bring education to local communities. Her commitment to service extends globally as well through Unbound. She sponsors two children (Marlon in Honduras and Guiselle in Costa Rica), partnering with families to build long-term stability and opportunity. She also supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with a monthly donation that fuels critical research and care.

Sophie Haydar, one of our UI/UX Designers, lends her design expertise to Indy Design Week, a citywide festival and nonprofit that celebrates, connects, and amplifies the Indianapolis design community. She is helping refresh their website to better reflect Indianapolis’ creative community. She’s also helping launch their upcoming donation campaign; another example of how skill-based volunteering can move meaningful missions forward.
Giving back takes many forms. JT Wellspring, one of our Quality Assurance Specialists, donates essential supplies to the Marion County Animal Shelter to help meet urgent needs.

And since 2019, Loren Cronin, one of our UI/UX Designers, has volunteered more than 1,000 hours as a dog walker with the Humane Society for Hamilton County. From daily walks to cleaning kennels to companionship, she’s been a steady source of comfort for dogs with all kinds of stories reminding us how impactful small, consistent actions can be.
Drew Linn, our CEO, has been deeply involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana (BBBSCI) since 2014, raising funds, serving as a Big, and contributing as a board member. His commitment to supporting young people extends across the community, from helping build homes with Habitat for Humanity to raising funds for Riley Children’s Foundation.
He also supports a variety of local organizations through both giving and service: the Marion County Animal Shelter, Business Ownership Initiative (BOI), the Central Indiana Women’s Business Center, and Outside the Box.

Arianna Cruz, our Director of Market Development, stays closely connected to her alma mater, Indiana University, Kelley School of Business, supporting the next generation of leaders through Women in Business, Kelley Connect, and the Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Circle, earning the 2025 Business Champion Award for her impact. She also volunteers her time and programming expertise with Future Leaders of America.

Her leadership extends across several boards and committees, including LatinosINTech, the Indiana Starters Coalition through Right to Start, and the APAPA Key Leadership Program, where she serves as co-moderator. Arianna also proudly serves as Board Chair for the Philippine Cultural Community Center and contributes to INtercollegiate Entrepreneurs, the Central Indiana Women’s Business Outreach Committee, and Indy Maven as an ambassador.
Youth development and mentoring have always been important to us. Our involvement with Hamilton Southeastern Schools aligns so naturally with our broader commitment to empowering future leaders. We support students at Hamilton Southeastern (HSE) through our partnership with their computer science program, an effort our team helps organize and champion every year. While our broader team supports the program, this year the classroom leadership came from Jason Bourg (COO & Software Architect), JT Wellspring, and Sophie Haydar, who have been hands-on in guiding students through the fundamentals of real-world software development. In previous years, Steve Finn (Developer) has also helped lead instruction and support students in the program.
Together, our team teaches students not just how to architect, develop, and test software, but what the real world is truly looking for in emerging technical talent. Through the Royals Innovation Lab, housed and supported at Launch Fishers, students take on real-world projects that mirror the expectations and challenges of today’s technology careers. Additional team members, including Steve and Jake Rogers (Developer), mentor students as they work in project teams, plan sprints, and navigate the full software development cycle. These hands-on initiatives empower students to build solutions with immediate impact while gaining experience that genuinely prepares them for the workforce.
Company values don’t mean much unless they’re lived out by the people behind them. What we see here is a team that shows up, not because it’s required, but because giving back is simply part of who we are.
We’re proud of the work we do as a company, but equally grateful for the individuals who carry that spirit of service into their communities, their passions, and their everyday lives.
As we celebrate this season of gratitude, we encourage you to support a cause that aligns with what matters to you, whether that’s volunteering, donating, or simply showing up where you’re needed.
If you’re looking for inspiration to collaborate on a community initiative, we’d love to connect.
